Join us in Elkhorn, Nebraska Saturday, July 26th, 2008 for the 7th Annual Elkhorn St. Pat's 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Join other teams from Elkhorn, Ashland, Bancroft, Bellevue, Bennington, Blair, Broken Bow, Cedar Bluffs, Columbus, Council Bluffs, Fremont, Gretna, Howells, Humphrey, Kennard, Lindsay, Lincoln, Louisville, Newman Grove, Omaha, Scribner, Seward, Sioux City, Valley, Walthill, Waterloo, West Point, and Winnebago as they compete for the top spots in 10 different divisions. The whole family is invited to enjoy the festival atmosphere complete with concessions, a live DJ - and of course tons of exciting 3-on-3 basketball action!

Fees & Deadlines
An entry fee of $80
for each youth team, and $100 for each adult team must accompany your registration
form. Each team is allowed 3-5 players.

Tournament
Overview
The tournament will
consist of pool play followed by tournament format.
Each team consists
of 3-5 players, three players and one to two substitutes. Unlimited substitutions
are permitted when the ball in not in play. No roster changes are permitted
once the first game starts.
Games are played to
16 points or 25 minutes, whichever happens first. Each team is allowed
two 45-second time-outs.
Baskets scored within
the arc count as one point. Baskets scored beyond the arc count as two
points. Ball changes possession after each made basket. All changes in
possession must go past the arc. All dead balls require a check
ball before play resumes.
Officials will be
provided for all games. Officials and tournament staff reserve the right
to eject any team or player for improper conduct.
Each player on the
winning team in each youth division will be awarded an official Elkhorn
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament Champion trophy. 7th-8th, 9th-12th, and adults will be awarded
an Elkhorn 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament Champion t-shirt. Second and third place medals will be awarded for all youth divisions.
Divisions may be combined
or split depending upon participation and discretion of the tournament
directors.

Policies
Weather:
Adverse weather conditions may result in:
Delay of games and/or moving games to another court
Reduce the number of points required to win
Reschedule the tournament for another date
Cancelling the tournament. In the unlikely event of cancellation of
the tournament due to adverse weather conditions, each team will receive
their player t-shirts.
However, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will entry fees be refunded.
Conduct:
Excessive and/or aggressive fouling will result in immediate reprimands
which may include game forfeiture, player ejection (game or tournament),
or team tournament ejection.
Vulgar or abusive language will result in game forfeiture, player ejection
(game or tournament), or team tournament ejection.
Arguing with tournament officials will not be tolerated, verbal or otherwise.
Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the tournament.
Dunking is not permitted during practice or warm-ups. Anyone caught
may be disqualified from the tournament.
