Tournament Brackets

Please find the tentative brackets for your division below. While no new teams are being accepted, it's possible that some teams may scratch between now and game time. However, in most cases the starting times listed for your team will remain the same. Please note that the only official brackets will be kept at the scorers table so please check it between games during the tournament.

IMPORTANT: Regardless of start time, a representative from each team is REQUIRED to check in the day of the tournament at 8:00 a.m. Failure to do so will result in your team being dropped from the tournament.

    TOURNAMENT INSTRUCTIONS

    1) TOURNAMENT BRACKETS/START TIMES

    The tournament brackets and start times have been posted to the website at the following address: http://www.elkhorn3on3.com/brackets.cfm

    While it's our intention that these brackets are final, changes may still occur between now and game time. However, any changes should NOT affect your start times. During the day of the tournament, the only official brackets will be kept on the bracket board near the scorers table - so please check it between games during the tournament.

    We will be hosting over 120 teams from all over Nebraska and Western Iowa! With this many teams and a finite number of courts, it's important that we keep games on a tight schedule. After your first game, there is no established game time. As soon as one game is finished, we will quickly begin the next. We ask that you check with the bracket board frequently and be prepared to play when your team name is called.

    2) IN THE EVENT OF RAIN

    In the event of rain we will do everything possible to accommodate all games and complete tournament for the most part by 4:30 as Saturday mass is at 5:00. In the event Saturday is rained out we reserve the right to move the tournament to Sunday but would not be able to start until 2:00pm after all masses are completed. Sorry, but no refunds are available in the event of a rain out.

    3) REGISTRATION & WAIVERS

    IMPORTANT: We have modified our registration slightly from previous years, so please read this in its entirety.

    A representative of the team is REQUIRED to check in between 8:00 and 8:30 AM on Saturday morning. If you have a later start time for your first game, it is NOT necessary that your whole team be there at 8:00 AM. Upon checking in, the team representative will be given a waiver for each member of your team. All waivers must be signed and returned to the registration desk prior to the start of your first game. At that time, t-shirts will be given out for each team member and you'll be cleared to play. Please have all waivers signed and back to the registration desk prior to game time otherwise you may be penalized one point for every minute the game is delayed.

    4) RULES

    We encourage everyone on your team to read through the rules to avoid any confusion. As always, the court official has the final say on all rule interpretations. The official rules will be available during registration but may also be downloaded from the website at http://www.elkhorn3on3.com/3on3rules.pdf and Tie-Breaker Addendum.

    5) PARKING

    With our record-setting number of teams this year, parking spaces will fill up fast. To facilitate the best use of space, we will have several volunteers directing traffic to the available parking areas. Parking should be available on either side of St. Pat's church and school, but as much as possible, we encourage you to carpool. We appreciate your cooperation.
